In 2015, at the age of 44, I was diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer which completely changed my life. I have been on the rollercoaster of treatments and the associated emotions for almost 11 years.  Finding the seated dance class for people affected by cancer has been life changing for me. It has built my confidence and lifted me out of a very sedentary lifestyle. I now have more energy to do other activities too.  Dance has made such a significant positive impact on my life, I am so grateful to have found Tracey and Dancing for Health.

I previously had a successful career in quality (as a Six Sigma black belt) and project management; specialising in process improvement, particularly customer service and purchase to pay processes.

Since my diagnosis, my focus has been seeking out joy.  I am now a Laughter Yoga instructor and wellbeing advocate.
